A few people told me to stay away from Luvs diapers because they said they caused irritation for their kids, but I didn’t find that to be the case at all. We did try a few different brands for our first child (due mostly to getting different brands at our baby shower) including Huggies, Pampers, Up and Up (target brand) and Parent’s Choice (Walmart brand). Our favorite was actually the Luvs. We found them to absorb a lot more than their same size counterparts and have fewer leaks when using them compared to others. They do have a light scent (like baby powder) that I actually like and Luvs didn’t cause any irritation or rashes for my daughter or son. My daughter is actually pretty sensitive to scents/fragrance and will get rashes if you use a laundry detergent that has dyes or perfume and Luvs never bothered her. Everyone is different though. It has the same wetness indicator that the other brands have and you get a lot more diapers for the same price as the other name brands.

I have prime so I get this 252 count for 30 bucks and im ecstatic about it. Everywhere else charges 40+. I hate pampers and Huggins because they make my kid break out or her bottom red and irritated. I’ve RARELY had leaks or blowouts with this brand. I feel like all the people in the reviews saying negative stuff don’t change their kid often enough. And let me tell you, if you’re buying Huggins so your kid can sit in a dirty diaper for hours on end, you are not doing it right. I save on diaper rash ointment and baby powder with this brand. I save on diaper pail bags. I also save on laundry. Yes they are thinner. Yes they “feel cheap”. They don’t leak if you put them on right and tight and pull the diaper completely apart and pull the liner put and around the booty. With Huggins, they were always so bulky for extra fecal holding that the liner would end up flossing her no matter what I did. And when you wrap these bad boys up, they get so small, hence money saved on bags. Huggies and pampers “feel soft” and the inside where they actually have more texture, hence more use of baby powder and diaper rash cream. While luvs “cheap” quality inside is actually SLICK which is the best for friction and moisture prevention. I don’t get the overnight thing. I wake up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, im checking my kids diaper. Which, babies usually don’t go if they’re in deep sleep. And I’ve had one blowout which would of happened in ANY diaper bc lord was she a lil backed up. I don’t get the whole, the back doesn’t have whatever huggies does, yes it does. Its just not as a prominent and probably far more irritating lining as its textured to hell. Put your diaper on tight. Mine goes right bellow the belly button. Never had but 3 accidents.

Best diapers ever.Used luvs with my first kid .If you’re buying this for someone or a parent that’s unsure about a diff diaper brand..Go for it .. it’s a good deal , better diaper fitting, fewer blowouts if anyNote : my baby is very tall so I bumped her up to size 2 at only 3 or 4 months…. So she would have the coverage needed to prevent a blowout ..If you still need help: cloth diapers are also good .. Don’t buy the cheapest u find. Spend the money on Nora’s Nursery, it’s on Amazon. Out of all the brands we have purchased, that’s only one that has held up.. liners are better..We actually use Nora’s Nursery and luvs right now .. just because 🙂

First want to start off by saying I used these for my daughter for the first month and a half of her life. Loved these when she was small, they didn’t leak, and they didn’t seem as inflexible as other diapers did. Worked great for us so I’m rating the product well. Once she got out of size ones I order size twos. That was my mistake there. The bigger she got, and the bigger her volume of pee got, the less effective the diaper was. I would definitely say these are good to use while the baby is in size ones, to save some money, but after size ones I would recommend switching. She leaked through a lot after that. So size ones are five stars for me, size twos are zero stars.

This is my favorite brand of diapers. When my daughter was born we used Several brands before finding these. She had the worst butt rash for so long. Her skin was breaking down. We were using diaper creams, corn starch, baking soda, we were cleaning it, we were drying it after every change, it wasn’t going anywhere. We were at a loss. Finally, I got luvs brand as a gift (we had been trying other brands as well), but these did it! 3 days in luvs and that butt rash cleared right up! She’s so much happier! And for $20-25 for 252 diapers, who can beat that price?!

I was not the first time mom who insisted on all the pricy stuff for baby. I spent the money where it counted, and went for value where it didn’t. So as soon as we got home from the hospital we ditched the pampers and went with loves. They are the only diapers I’ve found that have overnight leak protection in infant sizes, besides honest. We have exclusively bought loves since we’ve been home except when we were out of town. I couldn’t find a small package of luvs so I bought huggies because they were on sale and they leaked after three hours! Never again, huggies, never again. From now on it’s luvs all the way or if I can’t find them, then honest diapers. My husband did point out that they don’t have the yellow “wet” strip, but seriously, you can’t see and feel when a diaper is wet without the strip and the strip only tells you the diaper is damp, not full.

Always love using this brand of diapers since discovering them with my 2nd child. It’s cheaper than the other brands (which is a plus for me), has a great smell and holds well throughout the day and night time. Just sad that the new size that my baby fits is much more expensive than the price it used to be. Hopefully the price goes back down the way it was, otherwise its a great brand of diapers!

Love Luvs! Used Pampers, Huggies, Seventh Generation (the WORST!), and these are my favorite! They gel up thick with pee but don’t leak. They’re also the cheapest. Between taking care of my ex’s kids in Luvs and now mine, I could count on my hands how many leakers I’ve had in all the years I’ve used these.

Have always used loves and keep coming back to these for multiple reasons. I’ve worked in childcare for years and Luvs has always been the answer. They work great for leak protection while still being budget friendly. Every time a parent had trouble with finding diapers I would always recommend Luvs. Pampers works well but are too pricey and I’ve seen way too many leak incidents with Huggies. Every baby is different but I’ve seen more success with Luvs than most any brand while still being a good deal. This is a great buy!

we started with Huggies in the hospital and then switched to pampers when we got home. we thought the pampers were great until we started to realize that moments after he would pee he would start to cry. I figured thats what babies do but when I switched to luvs he stopped doing that. they seem to absorb faster than pampers so hes less wet. Now we can sleep for longer stretched just change the diaper at feeding time during the night. Thank you Luvs for the extra sleep :-)I’ll add that these are less bulky than pampers as well. they feel less soft but he doesn’t seem to mind, no rashes or cuts. Also, I thought I would miss the wetness indicator but honestly it’s pretty easy to tell when the diapers full, it blows up like a balloon.
